POSITION SUMMARY

As a Primary Therapist, you play a vital role in the therapeutic process, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for patients, while ensuring they maintain the highest possible quality of life.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full Time

DEPARTMENT: Adult Behavioral Health

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, Daytime Hours

KEY ATTRIBUTES

  • Master's Degree in a Human Services discipline is required
  • Preferred experience of two years in mental health settings
  • Licensure as LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT, or a permit holder in one of these fields is required; limited permit or license must be obtained within one year of employment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assessment: Conduct interviews and observations to gather patient information; document assessment findings thoroughly.
  • Building Relationships: Develop a therapeutic alliance with each patient; collaborate with patients and other stakeholders to evaluate care objectives and outcomes; prioritize patient needs while providing a structured approach to achieving goals.
  • Treatment Planning: Create a detailed treatment plan based on initial assessments; coordinate care with primary healthcare providers; continuously assess and adjust the treatment plan as necessary.
  • Caseload Management: Maintain an active caseload while ensuring high-quality care for each individual.

S - Sedentary Work - Involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. Sedentary roles typically require sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing.
