Compensation:$1,700 weekly
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare the massage table and ensure all products for client use are ready prior to each appointment.
- Advise clients on additional products or services that may enhance their experience.
- Administer safe and effective therapeutic massage techniques tailored to each client's individual needs.
- Assess clients' physical conditions, stress levels, and medical histories to determine the most suitable massage therapies.
- Monitor client treatment plans and progress, maintaining precise treatment records.
- Utilize various massage techniques to promote relaxation and alleviate pain for clients.
- Keep a clean and organized workspace to provide a safe and inviting atmosphere for clients.
- Engage in effective communication with clients to understand their preferences and requirements for each session.
- Recommend and sell suitable spa products to enhance the relaxation experience for clients.
- Maintain high standards of customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Must hold a valid license in accordance with state and local regulations.
- A minimum of one year of professional experience as a massage therapist is required.
- Completion of a recognized massage therapy program is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
- Proficiency in various therapeutic massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and reflexology.
- Current NYS license is required, along with prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Physical demands include the ability to work long hours, primarily on your feet, and the capacity to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with agility in response to client needs.
- Work conditions may vary in temperature and noise levels, although treatment rooms are designed to be quiet and soothing.
- Near vision capability is essential for detail-oriented tasks.
- Effective communication skills in English are required to convey and comprehend information.
