Compensation:$1,700 weekly
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare the massage area and ensure all products are ready for each session.
- Advise clients on additional services or products that may enhance their experience.
- Administer safe and effective massage techniques tailored to individual client needs.
- Assess each client's physical state, stress levels, and medical background to provide the most suitable treatment.
- Monitor client progress and maintain precise treatment documentation.
- Utilize diverse massage modalities to promote relaxation and alleviate discomfort.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
- Engage in clear communication with clients to understand their preferences and requirements.
- Recommend and sell relevant spa products to improve clients' relaxation journeys.
- Maintain high standards of customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Valid licensure in accordance with state and local regulations.
- Minimum of one year of professional experience as a massage therapist.
- Completion of an accredited massage therapy program is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Expertise in various therapeutic techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and reflexology.
- Current NYS license is necessary, along with prior experience in customer service or hospitality.
- Physical capabilities include standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to bend, stretch, and move quickly as needed.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and noise levels, with treatment rooms designed for tranquility.
- Proficient in conveying and understanding information in English.
