Role Responsibilities

As a Personal Banker, you will enhance customer relationships through a structured sales approach. Your primary focus will be engaging clients in meaningful discussions to identify suitable financial products and services.

This role is situated within PNC's Retail Banking Network and emphasizes proactive sales and service initiatives to grow the branch's customer base.

Key Duties
  • Develop and deepen client relationships through various proactive sales and service strategies.
  • Manage the customer experience by recognizing opportunities to enhance their financial well-being.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to increase the customer's engagement with PNC services.
  • Facilitate proactive sales discussions through both internal and external communications, including outbound calls and effective lobby interactions.
  • Deliver comprehensive PNC solutions during every client interaction to ensure their needs are met.
  • Utilize community resources and partnerships to acquire and retain customer relationships.
  • Foster customer loyalty and expand the customer’s use of PNC products through a unique service experience.
  • Engage with clients in the lobby to connect and promote PNC offerings tailored to their needs.
  • Educate clients on managing their financial transactions by utilizing available technology and resources.
  • Apply knowledge of products and procedures to effectively address and resolve customer issues, enhancing loyalty.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures to manage risk effectively and maintain high standards of integrity.
  • Participate in daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all tasks.
Qualifications

Successful candidates will exhibit the necessary skills and competencies for this role. Below are the preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Banking and Customer Service.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and leverage technology for proactive sales.
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in retail lending and understanding customer needs.

While a university degree is not mandatory, relevant experience or product knowledge is essential. Typically, a minimum of one year of related experience is required.
