Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer administrative assistance to the Relationship Banker by managing loan applications, ensuring smooth progression through approvals, and facilitating closings.
  • Oversee the general administration and upkeep of the loan portfolio, including support in loan renewals, extensions, and conducting annual loan assessments.
  • Track overdue reports, upcoming loans, file exceptions, and compliance with covenants.
  • Assist with loan closing documentation, client packets, sales presentations, and client onboarding.
  • Address client inquiries and service requests, including general account questions, loan advances, and payment requests.
  • Engage with team members across various departments, particularly in private banking, loan operations, credit, and compliance.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through regular contact, relationship maintenance, and identifying additional banking products to meet client needs.
  • Support loan product strategies and initiatives as needed.
  • Assist in training and onboarding new associates as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with banking and credit software.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and follow-through abilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Deliver the highest level of client service and follow-through.
  • Regularly connect with clients to assess their needs.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Experience Requirements:
0-3 years in banking, lending, and/or credit, or related experience is required.

Licensure/Certification:
NMLS upon hire is required.
