Job Overview

AvantStay is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Services Associate to join our team. As the face of our company, this role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences at our luxury hotels.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for conducting room inspections, auditing property administrative and maintenance areas, and responding to guest requests and issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough room inspections to ensure cleanliness and consistency with AvantStay brand standards.
  • Audit property administrative and maintenance areas to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Respond to daily guest requests, issues, and other outreach in a timely and professional manner.
  • Guide guests through the AvantStay experience, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Troubleshoot minor maintenance and technology issues, such as light bulb replacements and Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • Perform housekeeping quality audits and inventory checks to ensure hospitality standards are met consistently.
  • Assist with inventory duties, such as preparing turnover kits and tracking linen and consumables use.
  • Maintain and organize gathering spaces, including the office, lobby, gym, and others, as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A "Guest First" attitude towards hospitality, with a focus on creating exceptional experiences.
  • Broad range of technology experience, including different property management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a startup environment, with empowerment to make decisions that enhance the guest experience.
  • A positive attitude, self-starter mentality, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
