Role Overview:

Cognizant Technology Solutions is in search of a highly skilled SAP ISU FICA Functional Architect to support our North American clientele. This role involves engaging in both proactive and reactive business opportunities, including managed services and transformation initiatives. The selected individual will collaborate closely with our onsite sales and delivery teams, participating in solution discussions and workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of innovative IS-U FICA processes, utilizing the latest technologies to enhance business operations.
  • Conduct gap analysis and business needs assessments, followed by the design, configuration, testing, and support of business process areas.
  • Oversee SAP FICA solution design for client projects.
  • Facilitate customer workshops and document Business Process Designs for S/4HANA implementations in the utilities sector.
  • Draft functional specifications, configure systems, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical developers and business analysts, to integrate IS-U FICA with other functional areas.
  • Provide expert insights on industry best practices and regulatory compliance within the ISU-U FICA module.
  • Support project managers in validating and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
  • Mentor junior consultants and lead project timelines and stakeholder expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Address complex challenges that may occur during deployment and post-go-live phases.
  • Assist with FICA-related sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a consistent track record of successful SAP IS-U project delivery in a consulting environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience with a strong emphasis on SAP ISU FICA.

This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, contingent on performance and in accordance with the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
