Role Overview:
Cognizant Technology Solutions is in search of a seasoned SAP ISU FICA Functional Architect to serve our North American clientele. This role involves supporting both proactive and reactive business initiatives, including managed services and transformation projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our onsite sales and delivery teams, engaging in solution discussions and workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of cutting-edge IS-U FICA processes, showcasing the latest technologies to enhance business operations.
- Conduct Gap/Business Needs Analysis, Design, Configuration, Build, Test, Debug, Convert, Cutover, and Support for business process areas.
- Oversee SAP FICA solution design for client projects.
- Facilitate customer workshops and document Business Process Designs for S/4HANA implementations.
- Develop functional specifications, configure systems, and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical developers and business analysts, to integrate IS-U FICA with other functional tracks.
- Provide expert advice on industry best practices and regulatory compliance within the ISU-U FICA module.
- Support project managers in validating and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
- Mentor junior consultants.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Address complex issues arising during deployment and post-go-live phases.
- Assist with FICA sales and marketing initiatives.
- Demonstrate a consistent track record of successful SAP IS-U project delivery in a consulting environment.
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience with a strong emphasis on SAP ISU FICA.
This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
