The Consumer Products Division encompasses design and manufacturing entities such as Amscan, a leader in celebration décor, tableware, costumes, and accessories, as well as Anagram, the global frontrunner in foil balloons.

Job Overview:
The Lead Manager, Corporate Finance will assume a pivotal role in guiding a team of finance professionals dedicated to executing all daily accounting and controllership functions for PCHI, ensuring that the provision of timely, precise, and insightful financial data remains a priority.
To achieve this, the Lead Manager will collaborate with various teams within the Accounting & Compliance organization.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Indirect Oversight:
Supervise local team members (Wholesale and Retail) and remote Infosys team members based in India.
Collaborate with Technical Accounting & Reporting and Inventory Accounting to guarantee the prompt preparation and accuracy of financial statements.
Work closely with the business to resolve complex accounting challenges.
Integrate accounting functions by further standardizing practices at an Enterprise level.
Oversee the accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting and consolidation close processes, along with relevant accounting activities.
Generate and review supporting schedules and analyses, including the examination of manual journal entries.
Conduct detailed reviews of various GL reserves, including medical and workers' compensation.

Thoroughly understand, review, and approve all intercompany entries, ensuring timely research and resolution of discrepancies; possess the ability to train others in preparing and reviewing entries.

Conduct detailed reviews of P&L and balance sheet accounts.
Ensure adherence to internal finance policies and controls, including data and reporting standards and compliance (Sarbanes Oxley regulations, internal and external audits).
Support annual external and statutory audits.
Assist with and take accountability for detail-oriented projects such as accounting system implementations, business process enhancements, and the operational enforcement of policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Possesses a mindset for continuous improvement, with the capability to devise unique and innovative solutions to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
Makes sound, timely decisions based on a blend of analysis, experience, and judgment.

Qualifications:
7+ years of comprehensive experience in accounting/finance.
3+ years' experience in General Accounting & Consolidations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Strong knowledge of GAAP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.
CPA and/or MBA preferred.
Fundamental understanding of external reporting & technical accounting.
