Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement long-term and short-term equipment plans to ensure optimal utilization and minimize downtime.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage equipment budgets and costs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Reliability and Maintenance: Analyze equipment reliability and failure data to identify areas for improvement and implement preventative maintenance programs.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor entry-level equipment technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective communication with all levels of supervision and management to ensure seamless equipment operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in equipment-related roles, with a strong background in planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft software is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50lbs and access equipment in various locations.
