Meat Department Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Meat Utility Worker to join our team at Festival Foods. As a Meat Utility Worker, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service in our Meat Department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist guests with locating items on the sales floor and provide exceptional customer service.
- Receives, prepares, and fulfills guest orders and other special requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provides excellent guest services by professionally answering department telephone and addressing guest concerns.
- Wraps meat and seafood in appropriate packaging and ensures accurate pricing on items within displays and sales floor.
- Supports teammates and positively contributes to the culture of the Meat Department.
- Ensures high standard quality control by inspecting, rotating, maintaining proper temperatures, and replenishing all meat products on display.
- Maintains proper inventory levels in Meat Department and ensures all quality standards are being met.
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel.
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle a diverse crew in a highly stressful environment.
- Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
- Must possess the ability to apply on-the-job safety training to recognize and react to possible safety hazards on store premises.
