Meat Department Associate

Festival Foods is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Meat Department Associate to join our team. As a Meat Department Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Guests: Provide assistance to guests in locating items on the sales floor, receiving, preparing, and fulfilling guest orders and special requests.
- Provide Excellent Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by professionally answering department telephone calls and interacting with guests on the sales floor.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure accurate pricing on items within displays and sales floor, fill, rotate, and remove product according to date, and maintain high standard quality control by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing all meat products on display.
- Support Team Members: Support teammates and positively contribute to the culture of the Meat Department.
- Address Guest Concerns: Address guest concerns and resolve issues by practicing the boomerang principal.
- Maintain Inventory: Maintain proper inventory levels in the Meat Department, including containers, wraps, tags, and other necessary supplies.
- Lead by Example: Maintain food safety logs and lead by example through following proper procedures.
- Meet Quality Expectations: Ensure all quality standards are being met, including quantity expectations at 100% by 10 am and 5 pm.
- Ability to Deal with Customers: Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel.
- Good Communication Skills: Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle a diverse crew in a highly stressful environment.
- Complete Understanding of Safety Requirements: Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
- Ability to Apply Safety Training: Must possess the ability to apply on-the-job safety training to recognize and react to possible safety hazards on store premises.
The Meat Department Associate will work in a fast-paced environment with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, repetitive motion of hands and wrists, and the ability to work in a team environment.
