Festival Foods is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Meat Utility Worker to join our team. As a Meat Utility Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service in our Meat Department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Guests: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with locating items on the sales floor and responding to their inquiries.
- Order Fulfillment: Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Product Management: Ensure accurate pricing on items within displays and sales floor, and maintain proper inventory levels in the Meat Department.
- Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, and maintain proper temperatures of all meat products on display, and ensure high standards of quality control.
- Team Support: Support teammates and contribute to the positive culture of the Meat Department.
- Guest Resolution: Address guest concerns and resolve issues by practicing the boomerang principle.
- Communication Skills: Possess good oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle a diverse crew in a highly stressful environment.
- Safety Knowledge: Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies, and the ability to apply on-the-job safety training to recognize and react to possible safety hazards.
- Physical Demands: Stand in one place for a long period of time, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly, and lift up to 80 pounds on an occasional basis.
