- Meat Department Operations: Maintain stock levels, execute the boomerang theory, and ensure accurate pricing on items within displays and sales floor.
- Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, and maintain proper temperatures of all meat products on display, ensuring high standards of quality and food safety.
- Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels in the Meat Department, including containers, wraps, tags, and other supplies.
- Teamwork: Support teammates and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Safety Knowledge: Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly, and lift up to 80 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Competitive Pay: Hourly associates are paid weekly, with opportunities for premium pay on Sundays and select holidays.
