Candidate Profile:
We are seeking female candidates for the observed collection of specimens from female patients. Your role will significantly contribute to the well-being of the community.

About Millennium Health:
Millennium Health LLC is a recognized specialty laboratory with over ten years of expertise in medication monitoring and drug testing services. We assist healthcare providers in tracking the use of prescribed medications and illicit substances, thereby enhancing clinical decision-making for countless individuals facing chronic pain, mental health challenges, and substance use disorders.

Role Overview:
As a Specimen Collection Specialist, you will be a vital representative of Millennium Health, delivering outstanding care and exceptional service to patients, healthcare providers, and our laboratory team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collect urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens from patients.
2. Process and package specimens for shipping.
3. Act as a liaison between healthcare practices and the laboratory.
4. Document patient details, physician orders, and relevant laboratory information.
5. Address any specimen-related issues concerning billing or patient information in the ordering system.
6. Manage and maintain the inventory of collection supplies on-site.
7. Oversee specimen collection for Millennium Health when necessary.
8. Travel between multiple facilities may be required.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:
1. A minimum of 6 months of experience as a specimen collector or at least 1 year in a medical role directly supporting patients.
2. Alternatively, 2+ years of customer service experience may be considered in lieu of medical experience.
3. Proficiency in using smartphones and computers is essential.
4. A valid driver's license is required.
5. Familiarity with medical billing and coding, as well as medications, is advantageous.
6. Commitment to adhering to HIPAA, HiTrust, confidentiality, and compliance standards.
7. Ability to maintain administrative, physical, and technical cybersecurity measures.
8. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:
1. Sitting: 90%
2. Walking: 5%
3. Standing: 5%
4. Lifting: Up to 20 lbs.

Compensation:
Salary Range: $18-21/hr, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and location.
