Position Summary

The Financial Planning Analyst plays a crucial role in developing financial reporting and analytical insights, serving as the key financial partner for designated regions and their respective districts. Responsibilities include updating forecasts, analyzing financial outcomes, and effectively communicating financial narratives to various stakeholders, including Business Partners and the Home Comfort Solutions Segment.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the formulation of annual financial planning targets for the assigned region and its districts.
  • Supporting the execution of strategic initiatives aimed at achieving revenue and margin objectives.
  • Analyzing financial results in collaboration with business partners, comparing actuals against forecasts and prior year results to identify variances and trends.
  • Leading monthly financial discussions with regional leadership, providing insights and support to the sales organization.
  • Collaborating with relevant partners to comprehend key business performance drivers and communicating findings based on financial outcomes.
  • Developing expertise in the financial performance drivers of the assigned region.
  • Assisting in the creation of financial models and analytical tools to improve business processes.
  • Maintaining various systems and databases utilized for budgeting, analysis, and forecasting.
  • Conducting ad hoc financial research projects as required.
  • Actively seeking to enhance personal business acumen and sharing best practices with colleagues.

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is approximately $66,300 - $81,900, contingent upon the candidate's qualifications, experience, and education.

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience :

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 1-3 years of relevant experience. A Master's degree or CPA/CPA candidacy is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion) and analytics platforms (e.g., Qlik) is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
