Position Summary

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst plays a crucial role in generating financial reports and conducting analysis, serving as the primary financial partner for designated regions and associated districts/zones. Responsibilities include assisting in the update of forecasts, analyzing financial outcomes, and effectively communicating the financial narrative to business partners, FP&A/Accounting, and the Home Comfort Solutions Segment.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the formulation of annual financial planning targets for the assigned region and its districts.
  • Supporting the execution of strategic plans to achieve revenue and margin objectives for the designated region.
  • Analyzing financial results with business partners, evaluating actuals against plans, forecasts, and previous years to identify variances and trends.
  • Leading monthly financial discussions for regional leadership, providing insights and support to the sales organization.
  • Collaborating with relevant partners to comprehend key business performance drivers and communicating findings based on financial results.
  • Developing expertise as a finance thought leader regarding the performance drivers of the assigned region.
  • Assisting in the creation of financial models and analytical tools to improve business processes.
  • Maintaining various systems/databases utilized for budgeting, analysis, allocations, and forecasts.
  • Conducting ad hoc financial research projects as required.
  • Actively seeking to enhance personal business acumen and sharing best practices with colleagues.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is approximately $66,300 - $81,900, determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, and education.

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience :

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 1-3 years of relevant experience. A Master's Degree or CPA/CPA Candidate is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion) and/or analytics platforms (e.g., Qlik) is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
