Job Overview:
The Field Service Technician is accountable for the upkeep and repair of both field service and workshop machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
The essential functions of this role include the following:
Adhering to safe work practices and following all quality, safety, health, and environmental guidelines, policies, and regulations.

Executing a diverse range of advanced maintenance tasks, including preventative and predictive maintenance on various machines and equipment: Testing trailers, torque wrenches, generators, air compressors, lubricators, etc.

Interpreting intricate maintenance manuals, diagrams, drawings, and specifications to ascertain repair and troubleshooting methods.
Disassembling, adjusting, repairing, replacing, and validating maintenance operations across a varied line of work, encompassing hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and other machinery repairs.
Demonstrating the ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.

Qualifications:

A High School diploma or equivalent (GED); or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.


Certifications:
No certifications are required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Familiarity with wellhead and fracturing components.
Capability to repair diesel and gasoline engines.
Proficiency in repairing hydraulic pumps and components.
Skill in welding and operating plasma and torch cutters.

Supervisory Duties:
This position does not entail any supervisory responsibilities.

Regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; and vibration.
Occasional exposure to toxic and caustic chemicals; risk of radiation or electrical shock.
The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate.
