Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bench Repair Technician to join our team at Recruit XL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and shipping of safety equipment for our local branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and service rental and service equipment to customers
  • Maintain, organize, and ensure correct stock
  • Work within goal-driven deadlines to pull, prep, and ship orders
  • Complete needed maintenance and repairs to assets
  • Assist customers with needed data and information
  • Participate in monthly assigned cycle counts of rental and service items
  • Maintain quality control (QC) for all equipment
  • Maintain a safe and organized facility and adhere to company policies and procedures

Bench Repair Duties:

  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs of instruments and assets
  • Perform QA and ensure instruments fall within calibration tolerances
  • Develop procedures to ensure proper functionality
  • Perform repairs on equipment and instruments that fall outside of tolerance conditions
  • Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production/shipping schedules on a daily basis
  • Recommend improvements on production, equipment performance, and quality
  • Work with outside departments and supervisors to address needs and improvements

Requirements:

  • 2 years of relevant experience or an Associate Degree in Electronic Repair
  • Shipping & Receiving experience
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Understand computer hardware and basic networking
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Solid organizational skills
