The Test Technician plays a crucial role in supporting our commitment to creating a safe and automated environment while contributing to our ongoing growth and market presence.
The Test Technician is tasked with overseeing the complete sensor repair workflow. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and a willingness to enhance technical abilities to diagnose and resolve intricate product challenges. Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer applications are essential for compiling data and generating comprehensive technical reports. Additionally, this position involves close collaboration with the Warranty department to manage all aspects of the warranty process, including identifying product failure modes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair defective products from the production line.
- Notify Quality and Production teams of persistent assembly issues.
- Provide failure analysis data to Quality Control and Engineering as required.
- Conduct tests and prepare reports for customer requests regarding in-warranty product issues.
- Maintain sufficient inventory for repair operations.
- Analyze and repair returned products.
- Process warranty returns in the ERP system as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- A two-year technical degree in electronics or equivalent experience is mandatory, demonstrating a solid level of technical expertise and accountability.
- Basic soldering skills are essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of SQL is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a hands-on environment is required.
