The Test Technician plays a crucial role in supporting our mission to create a convenient, safe, and automated environment while contributing to our ongoing growth and market development.

The Test Technician is tasked with overseeing the entire sensor repair process within production. This role requires strong organizational skills and a willingness to enhance technical abilities to diagnose and resolve intricate product issues. Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in computer applications are essential for compiling data and generating professional technical documentation. The technician will collaborate closely with the Warranty department to manage all aspects of the warranty process, including identifying product failure modes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair defective products from the production line.
  • Notify Quality and Production teams of persistent assembly errors.
  • Provide failure analysis data to Quality Control and Engineering as required.
  • Conduct tests and prepare reports for customer-requested evaluations of in-warranty product issues.
  • Maintain sufficient inventory levels to facilitate repairs.
  • Analyze and repair returned products.
  • Process warranty returns in the ERP system as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • A two-year technical degree in electronics or equivalent experience is mandatory, demonstrating a high level of technical skill and responsibility.
  • Basic soldering skills are essential.
  • Professional written and verbal communication abilities are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with SQL is preferred but not essential.
  • A proven ability to work independently in a hands-on environment is required.
