Job Title: CNC Machining Specialist

As a CNC Machining Specialist at Ascentec Engineering, LLC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of precision and quality in the manufacturing of advanced components. Your expertise in MasterCAM software and ability to rapidly deploy automated manufacturing processes will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with commercial aerospace, spaceflight, and semiconductor companies to develop innovative manufacturing solutions for complex components.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to accurately conceptualize and complete designs.
  • Design and develop standard and custom tooling solutions using SolidWorks and MasterCam software.
  • Ensure timely output of drawings for customer approval and provide feedback to customers on component enhancements for manufacturability.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and 3-D modeling with advanced knowledge of MasterCam.
  • Ability to problem solve efficiently and communicate complex ideas to others.
  • Experience with ASME Print Reading and GD&T fundamentals.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to review designs for quality control.
