Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shop Helper at Ascentec Engineering, LLC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Precision Machining Industry and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with staging material, filling coolants, and performing deburring and polishing tasks.
  • Help with inspecting parts and learn to operate CNC machines, CMMs, and manual part inspection equipment.
  • Assist with assembly and part finishing tasks.
  • Ensure the machine shop is clean and organized, including removing trash and sweeping as required.
  • Perform other tasks as needed to support the manufacturing process.
Requirements
  • No previous experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
Working Conditions
  • May require walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in a moderate noise level environment.
  • Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
