Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at ONEPOWER Consulting. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, validating, and commissioning new machinery/mold, as well as diagnosing and repairing existing machinery/mold in the field. You will also be responsible for providing technical assistance to clients via phone or email, training plant maintenance and management staff on the safe operation and maintenance of equipment, and collaborating with the Technical Service Center to improve equipment performance and resolve customer complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of machinery/mold as well as diagnose and repair existing machinery/mold in the field.
- Provide technical assistance to clients via phone or email.
- Train plant maintenance and management staff on the safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Collaborate with the Technical Service Center to improve equipment performance and resolve customer complaints.
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is preferred or 3 years' experience working with Injection Stretch Blow Molding machines or 5 years with similar machine in plastics industry.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including identifying and resolving complex issues.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Adobe, and Internet skills.
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license.
Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
