Job Title: Regional Sales Manager About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and participating in various sales and customer relationship management processes. The RSM will represent the company's interests and build business relationships to enhance distribution channel management performance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a primary contact to identify prospective customers for distribution and channel management teams and develop professional relationships to understand customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet those needs.
  • Conduct business development activities for distribution and channel management teams within defined customer segments to support the business strategy.
  • Lead bid opportunities, participate in the preparation of bid responses, and negotiate with potential customers.
  • Develop and promote new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
  • Proactively support and develop prospective projects with assigned customers and present to the sales business development team.
  • Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities and develop customer presentations for specific customer needs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel up to 70%.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Sales and HVAC industry product experience.
  • Selling HVAC parts and/or systems.
  • Previous OEM/Channel/Distribution selling experience.
  • Experience demonstrating proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Salesforce CRM, and proficient in using a Customer Relationship Management System.
  • Sense of urgency, self-motivated, commitment, and sense of ownership.
  • Expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time.
