Regional Sales Manager

- Act as a primary contact to identify prospective customers for distribution and channel management teams and develop professional relationships to understand customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet those needs.
- Conduct business development activities for distribution and channel management teams within defined customer segments to support the business strategy.
- Lead bid opportunities, participate in the preparation of bid responses, and negotiate with potential customers.
- Develop and promote new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
- Proactively support and develop prospective projects with assigned customers and present to the sales business development team.
- Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities and develop customer presentations for specific customer needs.
- High school diploma.
- 5+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel up to 70%.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Sales and HVAC industry product experience.
- Selling HVAC parts and/or systems.
- Previous OEM/Channel/Distribution selling experience.
- Experience demonstrating proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Salesforce CRM, and proficient in using a Customer Relationship Management System.
- Sense of urgency, self-motivated, commitment, and sense of ownership.
- Expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time.
