Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Part-Time Event Security Personnel play a crucial role in safeguarding property and ensuring asset protection across the facilities at Hall of Fame Village, a division of Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to visitors, clients, vendors, and staff.
  • Address complaints, security incidents, and internal control issues through comprehensive investigations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners and organizations.
  • Provide a high standard of professional security services throughout the campus.
  • Prepare security team areas and equipment to support operational needs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance and facility concerns.
  • Conduct patrols of buildings and designated routes, reporting any issues encountered.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and video feeds as necessary from the control center.
  • Foster teamwork and quality service through effective communication with other shifts and management.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the campus during patrols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Type: Hourly / Non-Exempt

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum age of 19 years.
  • One year of experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable team player with the ability to work independently while maintaining high performance standards.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
  • Capability to work in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability to navigate uneven terrain and construction zones safely.
  • Ability to recognize and respond to hazardous situations.
  • Capacity to sit, stand, squat, and walk for extended periods as required.
  • Must possess hearing, vision, and speech capabilities.
  • Ability to create a welcoming atmosphere through friendly interactions.
  • Manual dexterity necessary to perform all job functions.
