Job Summary:

The Part Time Event Security Staff are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Hall of Fame Village campus, a subsidiary of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, guests, clients, vendors, and staff.
  • Respond to security incidents, breaches, and internal control issues through thorough investigations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external clients and organizations.
  • Deliver high-quality, professional security services across the campus.
  • Ensure security team spaces and equipment are prepared for operations.
  • Collaborate with adjacent teams to address maintenance, custodial, and facility issues.
  • Patrol buildings and general guard routes, reporting issues as found.
  • Monitor cameras and video from the control room as required.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and neat campus environment while on patrol.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED; Associates degree or certification preferred.
  • At least 19 years of age.
  • One year of prior experience in security, criminal justice, law enforcement, or military highly desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend instructions, and communicate in English.
  • Valid driver's license in compliance with agency standards required.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high performance standards.
  • Uncompromised judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
  • Work in various Ohio weather conditions, inside and outside.
  • Move safely over uneven terrain, steps, or in construction zones.
  • See and respond to hazardous situations.
  • Sit, stand, squat, and walk for periods as required.
  • Must be able to hear, see, and speak.
  • Ability to smile and make eye contact to provide a friendly impression.
  • Comprehend instructions and retain information.
  • Manual dexterity to complete all job duties.
  • Available to work in Canton, Ohio.
