Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to join our team at Techtronic Industries North America. As a key member of our Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coach employees to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day operations
  • Lead a team to support the day-to-day activities of the facilities
  • Work with Supervisor to ensure appropriate staffing levels and serve as a back-up in their absence
  • Conduct or delegate shift start-up meetings to communicate important information to team members
  • Provide feedback, recognition, and rewards to associates while fostering a high degree of morale among the team
  • Support technicians by developing their skills and ensuring they meet warehouse standards and regulations
  • Identify measures to improve various warehouse processes and prioritize repairs needed to maintain peak production
  • Maintain and enforce a clean, safe working environment and hold team members accountable for compliance
  • Act as the go-to person for a cohesive team of technicians committed to the success of the department
  • Communicate and support other departments as needed
Requirements:
  • Education equivalent to four years of high school
  • 10+ years of professional work experience in a production environment
  • Experience leading, coaching, and empowering team members
  • Results-focused with a strong ownership mentality
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to problem-solve quickly and execute solutions effectively
  • Development mindset with a willingness to learn and be coached
Physical and Weightlifting Demands:

Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes. Standing for long periods of time, as well as repetitive motion. Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 70lbs.
