Job Description:

At Techtronic Industries North America, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to join our team at our Olive Branch Distribution Center. As a key member of our Maintenance team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

As a Maintenance Lead, you'll be responsible for directing and coaching employees, leading a team to support day-to-day operations, and working closely with the Supervisor to ensure appropriate staffing levels. You'll also be responsible for conducting shift start-up meetings, providing feedback and recognition to associates, and fostering a high degree of morale among the team.

You'll work closely with technicians to develop their skills and ensure they're at par with warehouse standards and regulations. You'll also identify measures to improve various warehouse processes, prioritize repairs, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coach employees to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Lead a team to support day-to-day operations and activities of the facilities
  • Work with Supervisor to ensure appropriate staffing levels and serve as a back-up in their absence
  • Conduct or delegate shift start-up meetings to communicate information to team members
  • Provide feedback, recognition, and rewards to associates
  • Support technicians in developing their skills and ensuring compliance with warehouse standards and regulations
  • Identify measures to improve various warehouse processes and prioritize repairs
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Education equivalent to four years of high school
  • 10+ years of professional work experience in a production environment
  • Experience leading, coaching, and empowering team members
  • Results-focused with a development mindset
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to problem-solve quickly and execute solutions effectively
Physical and Weightlifting Demands:

Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes. Standing for long periods of time, as well as repetitive motion. Operate manual pallet jacks (operation of other equipment is a plus). Able to work in various temperature conditions. Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 70lbs.
