Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Accreditation and Population Health Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our credentialing and population health management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Accreditation Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in accreditation related to Credentialing and Population Health Management, providing guidance and support to department managers and leaders.
- Desk Audits and Compliance: Prepare desk audits, coordinate on-site and virtual audits, and pre-delegation surveys according to Ohio Department of Medicaid, payor, and National Commission on Quality Assurance (NCQA) requirements.
- Quality Improvement: Evaluate, interpret, and summarize accreditation guidelines, manage the process, and coordinate Continuous Quality Improvement activities to achieve best outcomes.
- Collaboration and Education: Collaborate with leaders from multiple departments on compliance improvement activities, provide guidance to department managers, and facilitate educational sessions to improve performance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field, required; Master's degree, preferred.
- Experience: At least 2 years in healthcare or other organizations with NCQA accreditation, required; previous accreditation experience, preferred.
- Skills: Strong working knowledge of the NCQA Submission process, quality improvement, project management, and analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro.
