Qualifications:

  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or a graduate from a vocational school
  • Preferred OEM Certifications
  • Valid Driver's License required (CDL is advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service individual trucks or fleets for clients and respond to service requests at client locations
  • Be available for after-hours service requests and flexible working hours
  • Diagnose issues and perform repairs in accordance with OEM standards
  • Collaborate with the parts department to obtain necessary warranty or replacement components
  • Accurately store and label parts for warranty claims or customer inquiries
  • Inspect assigned vehicles for safety concerns and suggest additional services as required
  • Manage inventory on the service vehicle and ensure it is sufficiently stocked
  • Document all service activities on repair orders comprehensively
  • Inform clients of any equipment defects or necessary maintenance
  • Accountable for dealership-owned tools and manuals
  • Advise clients on future repairs or services within a three-month period
  • Assist in providing onsite service estimates and sales
  • Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Participate in all company-sponsored training sessions
  • Perform any other assigned tasks as needed
