Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements from clients and relevant business units.
  • Evaluate design layouts for different room types and configurations.
  • Produce and share PDF annotations of plans to clarify proposed A/V solutions for stakeholders and clients.
  • Oversee A/V deployment and manage vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Administer budget and change management processes during the project.
  • Conduct site inspections as necessary to ensure quality and progress align with project goals.
  • Participate in all scheduled internal and external project meetings.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Project Tracker reflecting the status of all ongoing projects.
  • Keep regional operations leads informed about deployment progress and any potential issues, such as delays or technology updates.
  • Provide weekly status updates on project progress.
  • Achieve all designated project milestones.
  • Ensure all expenditures remain within the allocated budget.
  • Maintain a visible presence on-site during installation phases.
  • Coordinate walkthroughs and handover dates with regional teams.
  • Organize End User Training sessions, typically facilitated by operations personnel.
  • Compile all final as-built documentation, DSP files, programming codes, and asset information from A/V vendors.
  • Create a comprehensive close-out folder in the Multimedia Summer directory, ensuring all final documents are correctly categorized.
  • Manage the MIT MACD Approved/Rejected queue to transition all projects to 'Completed' status, linking to the close-out folder and files.
  • Update MIT records to reflect 'Active' status for all finished rooms and submit MACD to operations via the MIT portal.
  • Send EMS notifications through MIT for all newly added rooms.
  • Collect final invoices from vendors and submit them for payment processing.
  • Update the Project Tracker to indicate project completion.

Qualifications:

  • 4 to 5 years of experience in audio-visual field installations.
  • 3 years of managerial experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, MS Project, Crestron, AMX, etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding of audio and video systems.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
