Standards and Certification Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage product testing and certification throughout the lifecycle of projects
  • Facilitate effective communication amongst team members to ensure clarity on product testing
  • Collaborate with the team throughout the lifecycle of product testing and certification
  • Manage project budgets and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, status reports, and project updates as required
  • Review final designs for room types, quantities, and layouts
  • Manage the onboarding and testing of new products
  • Collect and maintain all required documentation
  • Attend weekly internal and external project and team meetings
  • Maintain the Engineer Product Tracker with current project status for the entire portfolio of work
  • Meet established milestones

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4 to 5 years' experience in AV field installations
  • 3 years of managerial experience
  • CTS Certified
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Word, Excel, MS Project, Smartsheet, QSYS, and AMX
  • Full understanding of audio and video programs
  • Ability to travel
