We are currently in search of a Project Specialist to enhance our operations. This role will involve supporting the Engineering Supervisor and their team in managing various projects at different stages throughout the city. Key responsibilities will encompass administrative tasks, report preparation, customer service, and other departmental duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently
  • Define project scopes based on job specifications, network integration requirements, and connection points
  • Oversee overall path planning, including site assessments, node integration, and resource management
  • Contribute to the creation of comprehensive 'Project Packets'
  • Facilitate project progression through necessary systems for finalization and budgeting
  • Assist the design team in developing site plans, asset inventories, labor and material requirements, and compliance with permitting and regulatory needs
  • Engage in project development for new initiatives
  • Serve as a project walkout expert, providing insights related to project composition
  • Manage multiple project phases, ensuring systems and records are accurately maintained
  • Possess knowledge of network and asset planning, including aerial and underground infrastructure

Qualifications

  • Experience or knowledge in aerial and underground construction, network operations, and inventory management for RF and Fiber
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
  • Ability to interpret maps, drawings, and diagrams relevant to project execution
  • Strong customer service, time management, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Willingness to learn and effectively utilize various software systems
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders
  • Flexibility to travel and adapt to varying schedules, including nights and weekends as necessary
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required
  • Comfortable working outdoors, in confined spaces, and at heights, with the ability to stand for extended periods
  • Proficient in safely navigating diverse terrains and job sites
