We are currently seeking a Project Specialist to support our Engineering Supervisor and team in overseeing various projects at different stages throughout the city. This role encompasses a range of administrative responsibilities, including report preparation, customer service, and other departmental tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently
  • Define project parameters including job specifications, network integration requirements, and connection points
  • Oversee overall path planning reviews, including site assessments, node integration, and resource management
  • Contribute to the creation of comprehensive 'Project Packets'
  • Facilitate project progression through systems for final development and budgeting
  • Assist the design team in developing site plans, asset lists, labor and material requirements, and permitting needs
  • Engage in project development for new initiatives
  • Serve as a project walkout expert
  • Manage multiple project stages while maintaining updated systems and records
  • Utilize knowledge of network and asset planning, including aerial and underground resources
Qualifications
  • Experience or knowledge in aerial and underground construction, network operations, and inventory management for RF and Fiber
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
  • Ability to interpret maps, drawings, and diagrams related to project construction
  • Strong customer service, time management, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Proficient in learning and utilizing software systems
  • Effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to various schedules, including nights and weekends as necessary
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working outdoors, in confined spaces, and at heights, with the ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to safely navigate diverse terrains and job sites
