Technical Equipment Specialist with Semiconductor Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Equipment Specialist to join our team in Fremont, CA.
This is a temporary 2-year position with a competitive salary of $43.50 per hour and a standard 40-hour workweek.
Your primary responsibility will be performing preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibration on equipment in the applications lab.
You will also be required to work closely with the Process Development, Hardware, and Software Engineering departments to support R&D activities and customer demos/commits.
Additionally, you may be tasked with installing and supporting prototype equipment, developing procedures and documentation as needed, and training Field Service Engineers, Engineering Technicians, or other Laboratory Service Engineers.
As a Technical Equipment Specialist, you will have the opportunity to travel domestically and internationally to customer sites to address tool/system issues that cannot be resolved remotely.
To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree and an electromechanical tech background with aircraft and power plant A&P being a plus.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
