Senior Electrical Engineer, PE


To be considered for our AEC Practice, candidates must possess a strong enthusiasm for engaging in intricate facility design projects alongside in-house multidisciplinary architecture and engineering teams.

Our projects focus on the Food, Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), and Life Science manufacturing industries.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, PE, you will be part of a team that challenges you and prepares you for growth.

In this role, you will collaborate with industry experts to assist leading companies in overcoming their most challenging issues.

You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and work alongside experienced leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients consistently and accurately.


Key Responsibilities:


We are looking for a skilled Licensed Electrical Engineer who excels in designing comprehensive electrical systems, including power, lighting, and fire alarm systems for large, complex manufacturing facilities while also valuing strong mentorship and leadership.


Your role will involve:

  • Electrical Design Leadership: Lead electrical design initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry standards and seamless integration of power, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
  • NEC Expertise: Utilize a thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code to develop designs that meet the highest safety and quality standards.
  • Advanced Power Distribution: Engineer robust power distribution systems, proficient in both low and medium voltage applications tailored to the specific requirements of modern manufacturing facilities.
  • Load Flow Analysis: Enhance energy efficiency through precise load flow analysis.
  • Innovative Lighting Solutions: Design lighting systems that improve safety, productivity, and energy efficiency.
  • Collaborative Facilities Design: Participate in multidisciplinary projects, providing your electrical engineering expertise to create comprehensive solutions.
  • Software Proficiency: Employ leading software tools such as Easy Power, REVIT, and AutoCAD for advanced modeling and simulation.
  • Client Engagement: Work directly with clients to ensure our electrical solutions align with their specific goals.

Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Professional Engineering License (PE): A recognition of your expertise and commitment.
  • 12+ Years of Relevant Experience: A proven history in electrical engineering, particularly within the food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods sectors.
  • NEC Proficiency: A solid understanding of the NEC, ensuring compliance in all designs.
  • Power Distribution Knowledge: Experience with low and medium voltage systems.
  • Load Flow Analysis Skills: Demonstrated capability in optimizing electrical systems.
  • Lighting Design Expertise: Knowledge of industrial lighting solutions.
  • Multi-Discipline Design Experience: Background in integrated facilities design.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Easy Power, REVIT, and AutoCAD.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Willingness to Travel: For installations, meetings, training, and industry events.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
