Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-In/Check-Out: Greet and register guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring all necessary information is collected and processed accurately.
  • Room Assignments and Key Management: Assign rooms to guests, manage key cards, and ensure all rooms are clean and ready for occupancy.
  • Guest Services and Support: Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide assistance with hotel services and amenities.
  • Cash Handling and Transactions: Manage cash drawer, process transactions, and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experience, communicate effectively with colleagues and management, and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Math and Reasoning Skills: Basic math skills and ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and resolve problems.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel software and systems.
Working Conditions

The Front Desk/Guest Service Agent will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, and be required to stand for long periods. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands

The Front Desk/Guest Service Agent will be required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to distinguish colors.
