Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cashier - Restaurant Team Member to join our team at Parkhurst Dining. As a key member of our dining team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable dining experience.

Essential Functions
  1. Provide warm and welcoming greetings to all guests, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
  2. Utilize our tools and systems to stay organized and informed about menu items, daily specials, and guest preferences.
  3. Maintain a clean and safe dining environment, including busing tables and restocking supplies.
  4. Handle all point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and meal plan transactions.
  5. Make change for guests, maintain accurate counts, and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each meal.
  6. Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a healthy and safe environment for guests and team members.
  7. Follow cleaning schedules and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  8. Follow company attendance policies, including arriving on time and maintaining an acceptable attendance record.
  9. Follow uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
  10. Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
