As a key member of the Brookdale Senior Living team, the **Maintenance Operations Manager** will oversee the maintenance and repair of our communities' buildings and grounds. This role is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage a team of maintenance associates responsible for the general operating maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure timely and effective maintenance activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential maintenance issues and develop plans to address them.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as facilities and operations, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with overall business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to maintenance and repair.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
