Role Overview:
As an Insurance Service Advisor at Independent Insurance Agents of Nebraska, your responsibilities will include a variety of customer service tasks such as assisting current clients, providing new business quotes, issuing insurance certificates, and managing phone communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell insurance policies to both new and existing clients.
- Effectively resolve client inquiries and complaints.
- Expand business outreach through networking strategies.
- Ensure adherence to insurance standards and regulations.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Perform assigned job duties with diligence.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: 1-12 months of experience in insurance, customer service, or related fields.
- Proficiency in marketing, sales, and communication.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and independent work.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Licensure in Property/Casualty insurance is required, with a willingness to obtain additional licenses as necessary.
Physical Requirements:
This role involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, crouching, balancing, and pushing/pulling equipment. Sitting is expected for the majority of the workday.
Work Environment:
Expect a quiet work environment with minimal noise disturbances.
