Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to take on the role of Charge Nurse, responsible for overseeing and coordinating nursing staff and clinical operations. This position involves addressing patient care needs, managing staffing concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise within the clinical setting. The Charge Nurse will lead and guide the efforts of the nursing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all nursing services and functions as a nursing leader.
- Provide direct patient care as permitted by state regulations, while not assuming primary nursing duties of center staff.
- Respond to emergencies, ensuring familiarity with emergency equipment and operational procedures.
- Implement effective staffing strategies in accordance with state regulations under the guidance of the Administrator.
