LPN Float Pool Nurse

Cascades Verdae is now accepting applications for a Float Pool LPN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Float Pool LPN, you will provide professional and restorative nursing services to our residents, working on an as-needed basis at either our Cascades Verdae or Summit Hills campuses.
Job Summary:This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the flexibility to work at either campus as needed. As a Float Pool LPN, you will be responsible for providing hands-on resident care, administering medications and treatments, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be required to work at least 16 hours per month and be on call at least 2 weekend days per month.
Responsibilities:- Provide professional and restorative nursing services to residents, including assessments, vital sign recording, and medication administration.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and treatment.
- Interact with residents' physicians, pharmacists, and medical personnel as needed.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
- Participate in in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
- Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
- Technical Skills: Ability to demonstrate current and ongoing competence in tasks assigned.
- Communication: Ability to effectively and regularly transfer information to necessary parties.
- Initiative: Self-motivated and personally competitive, with a desire to achieve for the good of the company and the team.
