We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Senior Living Communities. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on resident care, including administering medications and treatments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
- Assist with in-service training and mentoring of team members.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
- Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- Four-year college or university degree desired.
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrated competence in tasks assigned, indicating a specialized skill in this area above and beyond the average.
- Communication: Ability to effectively and regularly transfer information to necessary parties to improve the quality of work and to provide the supervisor with actionable, accurate data.
- Initiative: Self-motivated and personally competitive, with a desire to achieve for the good of the Company and the team.
- Flexibility: Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions and navigate obstacles with ease and professionalism.
- Interpersonal Skills: Focus on solving conflict, not blaming; listens to others without interrupting; keeps emotions under control; remains open to ideas and tries new things.

This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The individual must use proper body mechanics to assist residents in their daily living. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work.
Travel is not expected, although occasional travel may be required for training sessions, continuing education opportunities, emergency situations, and other company functions.
