Job Summary

The Dental Hygiene Specialist position at Access Community Health Centers supports patients during their dental visit, creating an environment that promotes dental health in a supportive, compassionate, and patient-focused approach. This role involves providing treatment procedures while maintaining a high level of sterilization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support patients during dental visits, promoting a positive and calming environment.
  • Provide treatment procedures, including cleaning and examination, while maintaining strict sterilization protocols.
  • Collaborate with dental teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of patient medical and dental histories.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene.
  • Current State License in Dental Hygiene.
  • Current CPR certification and maintenance of certification.
