Job Summary

Family Service League Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Program Director to join our team at the Mental Health Clinic in Riverhead. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide administrative and clinical oversight of the day-to-day operations of the clinic and its staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Program Director in managing the clinic's operations, including staff supervision, training, and development.
  • Provide direct supervision to clinic staff, including interns, and ensure compliance with all NY-OMH and CCBHC regulations and standards of care.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure the provision of medical services and storage of medications.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care for clients.
  • Collaborate with other agency departments to ensure effective recruitment, hiring, and disciplinary action of employees.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting, tracking, and review of significant incidents through the NIMRS system.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a mental health clinic setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
