Job Summary

Family Service League is seeking a full-time Assistant Program Director for a Mental Health Clinic in Riverhead. The Assistant Program Director will work closely with the Program Director to provide administrative and clinical oversight of the day-to-day operations of a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Program Director in providing administrative and clinical oversight of the clinic and clinic staff.
  • Lead weekly team meetings and individual or group supervision to clinic staff and interns as needed.
  • Provide direct supervision to clinic supervisor(s).
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure appropriate provision of medical services and storage of medications.
  • Provide annual performance evaluations for clinic staff.
  • Work with the Program Director and other agency departments regarding the recruitment, hiring, and disciplinary action of employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all NY-OMH and CCBHC regulations and standards of care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior supervisory experience working in a mental health clinic setting required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR), required.
