Position Overview:

As a vital member of Liberty Savings Bank FSB, you will deliver exceptional service to our clientele by facilitating banking transactions, establishing new accounts, and nurturing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile a cash drawer, assist with ATM operations, and support end-of-day balancing while adhering to security protocols.
  • Process transactions, including receiving, posting, and disbursing funds, as well as maintaining accurate customer account records.
  • Open new accounts, including checking, savings, business accounts, and IRAs.
  • Follow the customer onboarding process and the Ask Program to enhance customer experience.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend tailored products and services using the CNA process.
  • Foster customer relationships by making appropriate referrals, including mortgage and consumer loans.
  • Conduct account research and resolve issues as necessary.
  • Cross-train in various areas of the financial center, such as ATM operations, vault management, safe deposit services, wire transfers, and assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Contribute to the financial center's sales and service objectives by achieving individual performance targets.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries and requests promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold customer trust by adhering to the Privacy Policy.
  • Comply with bank policies and regulatory guidelines, ensuring minimal financial discrepancies.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct onboarding calls for existing customers and provide tele-consultation as needed.
  • Support the team by performing clerical tasks, including answering phones, maintaining records, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist with other job-related duties as assigned to promote team success.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in all aspects of the CSR I role, with a balancing accuracy of 90% or better.
  • Participate in dual control processes for opening and closing the financial center.
  • Embrace the Ask Program and strive to meet personal sales goals.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in compliance regulations and maintain a record free of violations.
  • Complete all required training sessions within specified timelines.
  • Respond to customer calls within three rings and follow up on inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Exhibit regular attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively through spoken word.
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication.
  • Ability to view a computer screen for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to move within confined spaces.
  • Dexterity to handle small objects and operate a keyboard.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Skills and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service or cash handling experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance, with proper telephone etiquette.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and strong mathematical skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn industry-specific software.
