Job Title: Senior Executive Assistant

At Vera Therapeutics, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Executive Assistant to provide strategic support to our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and other executives.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex calendars, coordinate travel, and prioritize tasks with tight deadlines. They will also be responsible for providing administrative support, preparing meeting materials, and maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and prioritize the COO's calendar, ensuring seamless coordination of meetings and events.
  • Arrange travel plans and coordinate high-profile events for the COO and other executives.
  • Act as a gatekeeper, screening and prioritizing communications, and managing access to the COO.
  • Effectively communicate and partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and coordination.
  • Assist in the development and organization of meeting materials, including slide decks and presentations.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports and manage purchase requisitions according to company policies and procedures.
  • Design and implement office policies and procedures as needed.
  • Analyze and monitor internal processes, suggesting and implementing procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Human Resources on various employee experience projects and programs.
  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments as requested.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of EA experience, with 3+ years of experience supporting C-Level Executives preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Calendar management, meeting organization, and heavy travel coordination experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, Zoom, and Slack.
  • Excellent prioritization and execution skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively problem-solve.
  • Proven expertise in written and verbal communication, with the ability to demonstrate strategic, professional, creative, and succinct communication.
  • High level of maturity, with the ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality in all tasks.
  • Able to remain organized and focused in a fast-paced, high-performance startup environment.
What We Offer:

Vera Therapeutics is an equal opportunity employer, committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The anticipated base pay range for this role is $115,000-$142,000, with an annual performance incentive bonus, new hire equity, and ongoing performance-based equity. We also offer various benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k match, flexible time off, and paid holidays.
