Job Summary:

The Contract Administrator/Special Projects Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the Early Childhood program at Grand St Settlement, Inc. is in compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards for Federal, State, City, and Private contracts. This position will provide governance support to the Policy Council and Early Childhood Board Committee, as well as support federal monitoring systems to ensure compliance and implementation of coordinated services through all programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and submitting fiscal and program reports to the OHS and other funding agencies, and will also support Early Childhood programs through a two-year start-up phase. This position requires an individual to be flexible and able to adapt to evolving tasks and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure contract compliance and regulatory requirements are met
  • Provide governance support to the Policy Council and Early Childhood Board Committee
  • Support federal monitoring systems and coordinated services
  • Track and submit fiscal and program reports
  • Support Early Childhood programs through a two-year start-up phase

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 3 years of administrative and fiscal management experience, contract compliance, and facilities management
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience in creating presentations, working with databases, and Microsoft applications
